GTTP Research Award házidöntője Székesfehérváron

Szeptember közepén a Fehérvár Travel utazási iroda adott otthont a Global Travel and Tourism Partnership (GTTP) idei nemzetközi projektversenyének magyarországi döntőjére. A fináléba Nagykőrösről és Sárvárról érkezett csapatok jutottak be, akiknek felkészítését Horváthné Tischler Noémi és Márton Krisztián, az U&T tanárai végezték. A verseny zsűrijét az utazási iroda szakemberei alkották, elnöki tisztét Nagy Réka, egykori U&T-s diák töltötte be, az értékelésben pedig Pákozdiné Borbás Anita működött közre.

A verseny idei témája a technológia turizmusra gyakorolt hatása volt, amelyhez a résztvevőknek egy kutatást és egy ehhez kapcsolódó üzleti tervet kellett kidolgozniuk.

A Vas Vármegyei SZC Sárvári Turisztikai Technikum két diákja, Baranyai Máté és Büki Bence (11. évfolyam) széleskörű kutatást végzett: kérdőívüket Google Űrlapon a közösségi média felületén osztották meg, illetve ugyanazt a kérdéssort papír alapon, több nyelvre is lefordítva juttatták el a sárvári szállodák vendégeihez, hogy minél pontosabb képet kapjanak a turisták technológiai szokásairól és preferenciáiról. A kérdések között szerepelt például az is, hogy a vendégek kedvelik-e a játékokat, és ha igen, milyen típusokat részesítenek előnyben.

A kutatás eredményeire építve a diákok egy gamifikációs turisztikai applikáció koncepcióját dolgozták ki. Az alkalmazás Sárvár városát és a Kéktúra helyi szakaszát kapcsolná össze játékos, élményalapú feladatokkal, így téve még vonzóbbá és interaktívabbá a város felfedezését a látogatók számára.

A döntőn a Toldi Miklós Élelmiszeripari Technikum csapata is bemutatta projektjét, akik a repüléshez és az online repülésfoglaló alkalmazásokhoz kapcsolódó kutatással készültek. A szakmai zsűri azonban a sárvári diákok ötletét találta a kiemelkedőbbnek, és országos első helyezéssel jutalmazta munkájukat.

Ennek köszönhetően Baranyai Máté és Büki Bence 2025. november 23–26. között Magyarországot, Sárvárt és iskolájukat képviselhetik a GTTP által szervezett nemzetközi diákkonferencián, amelynek idén Athén ad otthont. A diákokat a felkészülésben Horváthné Tischler Noémi tanárnő segítette és segíti.

A következő hetekben a fiúk intenzíven dolgoznak majd projektjük angol nyelvű bemutatásán és a prezentáció gyakorlásán, hiszen a görög fővárosban a világ számos országából érkező diákok előtt mutathatják be innovatív turisztikai ötletüket.

GTTP Research Award 2025 Hungarian Final

At the national final of the Global Travel and Tourism Partnership (GTTP) Research Award 2025. two schools’ teams took part.

This year’s competition focused on the impact of technology on tourism. Participants were required to conduct research and prepare a related business plan. The final took place on September 16 in Székesfehérvár, at the Fehérvár Travel office building, organized by the Hungarian Association for Travel and Tourism.

Two students from the Vas County SZC Sárvár Tourism Technical School, Máté Baranyai and Bence Büki (11th grade), carried out extensive research. They distributed their questionnaire via Google Forms on social media, and also provided a paper-based version translated into several languages to guests in Sárvár’s hotels. This allowed them to gain accurate insights into tourists’ technological habits and preferences. Among the questions asked was whether guests enjoy playing games, and if so, what types of games they prefer.

Building on the results of their research, the students developed the concept of a gamified tourism application. The app would combine the city of Sárvár and the local section of the Blue Trail (Kéktúra) with playful, experience-based tasks, making the discovery of the city and its surroundings more engaging and interactive for visitors.

At the final, the team from the Toldi Miklós Food Industry Technical School also presented their project, which focused on aviation and online flight booking applications. The professional jury found the Sárvár students’ idea more outstanding and awarded their work with first place.

As a result, Máté Baranyai and Bence Büki will represent Hungary, the city of Sárvár, and their school at the GTTP International Student Conference, which will be held in Athens, Greece, on November 23–26, 2025. Their preparation has been supported by their teacher, Noémi Tischler Horváth, who continues to guide them on their journey.

In the coming weeks, the boys will be working intensively on translating their project into English and practicing their presentation, as they will soon present their innovative tourism idea in front of students from all over the world in the Greek capital.
